Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She started her acting career with supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. She also played a supporting part in FX's sluggish series The Ex List. She starred as a young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices characters from Family Guy's animated comedy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and she relocated to California [11] where they stayed for a year , before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to take an interest in singing, acting and photography at the age of 13. Breckenridge relocated to Los Angeles with the help of her mother when she was 15.
